Questions about Age Calculator
How is the month arithmetic handled?
Calendar-correct. Going from 31 January to 28 February counts as 28 days, not one month, because February has no 31st. The tool counts whole months first, then the remaining days from the anniversary date.
What about someone born on 29 February?
Their birthday is calculated on 28 February in non-leap years, which is the common legal convention in most jurisdictions. The count of full years is unaffected.
Is my date of birth stored?
No. It stays in the page while the tab is open and is never written to storage or sent anywhere — a date of birth is a real identity credential and should not be logged by a web page.
Can it work out an age on a future date?
Yes. Set the "as of" date to any past or future day and the age is measured to that day rather than to today, which is what you want for an eligibility cut-off or a school year boundary. Dates far in the past and far ahead use the same calendar arithmetic.
Do I need to install anything or create an account?
No. The page is one HTML document with a small script — no sign-up, no email box, no download. Adding it to your home screen is optional and only makes it available offline.
Is Age Calculator really free, with no limits?
Yes. There is no account, no daily cap, no file-size tier and no watermark, because there is no server cost to recover. The site is funded by clearly disclosed partner recommendations on the Partners page, never by metering the tools.
Are my files or text uploaded when I use Age Calculator?
