Questions about Image Resizer
Will resizing blur my image?
Shrinking is safe and this tool downscales in halving steps, which avoids the aliasing you get from one big jump. Enlarging cannot invent detail that was never captured, so an upscaled image is always softer than a native one.
Can I resize a batch to the same width?
Yes. Set only the width, leave the height empty, and every image is scaled proportionally to that width regardless of its original aspect ratio.
Does resizing change the file format?
Only if you ask it to. By default the output keeps the input format; there is a format selector if you also want to convert.
What is the largest image it can handle?
The ceiling is the browser canvas limit rather than a rule here — around 16,384 pixels on a side in desktop Chrome and Firefox, and lower on iOS, where oversized canvases come back blank. Past that point the page reports the failure instead of handing you an empty file.
Can I resize to a target file size instead of dimensions?

Is Image Resizer really free, with no limits?
