Can I crop to a fixed aspect ratio?
Yes. Pick 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 or type your own, and the selection box keeps that ratio while you drag any handle.
Does cropping reduce quality?
No. The kept pixels are copied unchanged; only the ones outside the box are discarded. If you re-encode to JPEG afterwards, that step is lossy, so pick PNG if you plan to edit further.
Can I crop several photos to the same region?
Yes, when they share the same dimensions: set the crop once and apply it across the batch.
Can I crop to a circle or to rounded corners?
Not here — the selection in this tool is always rectangular. Circle Crop Image does the round version and exports a PNG with a transparent background, which is what a profile picture needs.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The corner handles are sized for touch and the preview responds to pinch-zoom. On a small screen, typing exact pixel values is usually faster and more accurate than dragging when the crop has to be precise.
Is Crop Image really free, with no limits?
