Where are my business details stored?
In your browser, only if you tick "remember", and only on this device. Invoicing services keep your client list, rates and payment details on their servers by design — this one has nowhere to keep them.
Does it handle multiple tax rates?
Yes, per line item, with per-rate subtotals shown separately, which is what most tax authorities require on an invoice.
Does it number invoices?
It suggests the next number from the last one you used on this device, and you can override it. There is no shared sequence, so keep your own record if you invoice from several machines.
Which currencies can it use?
Twelve: US dollar, euro, pound sterling, Brazilian real, Canadian and Australian dollars, Indian rupee, Japanese yen, Swiss franc, Mexican peso, South African rand and Swedish krona. Amounts are formatted with the symbol or code you pick; nothing is converted between currencies, since the page never goes online for a rate.
Can I put my logo on it?
Yes. Choose an image and it is embedded into the PDF at the top of the invoice, about 42 mm wide. The file is read in the browser and written straight into the document — it is not uploaded, and it is kept only if you tick "remember".
Is Invoice Generator really free, with no limits?
Yes. There is no account, no daily cap, no file-size tier and no watermark, because there is no server cost to recover. The site is funded by clearly disclosed partner recommendations on the Partners page, never by metering the tools.
Are my files or text uploaded when I use Invoice Generator?
No. Everything is processed by JavaScript running in your browser, on your device. You can verify it: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use the tool. You will see no request carrying your data — because there is nowhere for it to go.
