Can I move a page with the keyboard?
Yes. Focus a page and use the arrow buttons on its card, or press the left/right arrow keys while it is focused. Drag-and-drop is never the only way to do something here.
Can I reverse the whole document?
Yes — Reverse everything flips the page order in one go. There is no odd/even interleave button, so a double-sided stack scanned in two passes has to be woven together in the typed order box: 1, 11, 2, 12 and so on.
Does reordering change quality?
No. Pages are copied whole; only their order in the page tree changes.
Can I combine reordering with merging?
Merge the files first with Merge PDF, then open the result here. Keeping the two steps separate makes each one easy to check.
How many pages can the grid handle?
Several hundred on a desktop without trouble. Drawing the thumbnails is the slow part, so a very long document takes a moment to appear, and a thousand-page file is uncomfortable to scroll on a phone. Moving a page a long distance is easier with the typed order box than with a drag.
Can I insert pages from a second PDF here?
No. This tool only rearranges the document you opened. Merge the two files with Merge PDF first, then open the combined document here and drag the new pages into position.
Is Reorder PDF Pages really free, with no limits?
Yes. There is no account, no daily cap, no file-size tier and no watermark, because there is no server cost to recover. The site is funded by clearly disclosed partner recommendations on the Partners page, never by metering the tools.
Are my files or text uploaded when I use Reorder PDF Pages?
No. Everything is processed by JavaScript running in your browser, on your device. You can verify it: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use the tool. You will see no request carrying your data — because there is nowhere for it to go.
